Semester 1 begins!

Week 1 of Semester 1 is now officially over, as I begin my studies at the University of Glasgow. My main degree (single honours) is Earth Science with Biology and Chemistry in my first year, hoping to then progress onto Zoology in my second year as my second subject. I know, quite confusing but it allows me to have a very flexible degree, leaving my possible future options open. This very 'sciency' degree should allow me to obtain a good depth as elements of each course are occasionally related to one another, which I find very useful. I also had my first Earth Science lecture this week on Tuesday by Dr Iain Neill who introduced us to the subject. University is going to be 'full-on', but I hope to find time to continue with the Geochronicle, fingers crossed!
